Tarvin Community Woodland Trust Bird Survey

The Tarvin Community Woodland Trust Bird Survey is a vital initiative aimed at monitoring and preserving the rich birdlife in our community. Conducted in October 2024, this survey brought together dedicated observers to document bird species within the woodland area.

Over a single morning session, running from 8:30 AM to 10:45 AM on October 6, 2024, a range of species were observed using both sight and sound identification methods. Notable species included the Black Cap, Blackbird, and Black Headed Gull, among others.

This effort provides invaluable insights into the health of local bird populations and the broader ecosystem. By understanding these patterns, the Woodland Trust continues its mission to nurture biodiversity and protect our natural heritage.
